To say we live in uncertain times would be an understatement. God intends for us not to be moved by circumstances but to be at peace in whatever situation we find ourselves. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says “We walk by faith and not by sight.”  Sometimes that is easier said then done.  Read the following passage of scripture for a principle to live in peace.

Philippians 4:6-8 (NASB)
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

I’ve emboldened areas to focus on. One, rather then worry we must pray. Rather then complain we must be giving thanks. Second, where is your focus? Notice the apostle Paul tell us where to put our attention.

If we are going to have peace in times of uncertainty we will have to know that God is greater then our circumstances and change our focus.

Until next time be blessed
